In order to explore Saudi Arabian market, DAYA PRINTOGRAPH participated at recently concluded Saudi Print Pack Plast 2003 exhibition held at Riyadh. Film Laminating Machine Model LAMINI and Die Punching Machine with Hot Foil Stamping Attachment were demonstrated. Many enquiries were generated and other prestigious orders were also procured. Saudi Arabia has proved to be gateway to other flourishing Gulf and African market.

SHEET SEPARATOR MACHINE DEMONSTRATED AT 3RD SAPC EXHIBITION AT COLOMBO, SRI LANKA
Manual Laminated Sheet Separator machine is an essential for each Laminator who conventionally cuts laminated sheets by hand. This machine was successfully launched at recently concluded 3rd South Asian Print Congress and Exhibition at Colombo, Sri Lanka. The machine operates @ speed of approx 30 meters per minute with manual variac and sheet counter. Another model with Pneumatic controls and in-line sheet separation unit with Lamination is also available. Market for Carton Folder Gluer has also opened up for DAYA PRINTOGRAPH with its recent successful installation.
ENTRY INTO RUSSIAN MARKET
SPPL is participating in forthcoming POLYGRAPHINTER 2003, Oct 27-31, 2003 at Moscow. With this exhibition, SPPL is confident of a major breakthrough in Russian and other C.I.S. countries market. According to recent market survey of Vietnamese and Combodian market, there is a large potential of DAYA PRINTOGRAPH products in these markets, which are now opening up to the world.
SHETH at IGAS, Japan
Mr H V Sheth, also President of IPAMA, represented India at Globalprint Meeting of the Secretary Generals during IGAS in Tokyo, Japan on the 22 September 2007 to verify Global Print Federation statue. The main objective of this global federation is for the common interests and mutual understanding amongst manufacturers of printing, paper-making and converting machinery and equipment and consumables in particular. The official announcement of this Association will be during drupa 2008.

DAYA sponsored recently held Dubai Print Award 2007, organised under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. It has been expanded to cover those working in the printing and publishing sector in the whole GCC region, and not just the UAE.
Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Printing and Publishing Group (PPG) honored the winners of the Dubai Print Award 2007 on January 15, 2008, with gold, silver and bronze awards. The awards were bestowed to winners of 21 categories during a lavish ceremony at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, Dubai, including the debuting Bahrain Award, Kuwait Award, Oman Award, Qatar Award, KSA Award and UAE Award. Winners were chosen by a diverse and elite panel of international judges.
The Middle East’s printing and publishing sector is projected to be worth approximately AED 6.24 trillion by the end of this year, which represents a great incentive for DAYA. These awards were supported because it aims at encouraging those working in the printing sector to improve their products and provide the market with the highest quality of printed materials. Mr. Tarek Jawharji, the CEO of ColorLine Group and the Vice Chairman of PPG, revealed the list of elite sponsors of the award. The ceremony was attended by prominent government dignitaries and distinguished guests from the printing and publishing sectors, in addition to the participants and winners of the various categories.

TURN KEY PROJECT AT INDONESIA
DAYA is now focusing on delivering Turnkey projects. Its main forte is to deliver on-time, support from planning to execution stage, provide complete back up for raw material sourcing to training.
Recently, another Corrugated Box Making Unit was set up at Indonesia. Indonesia is a hub for paper manufacturing and execution of Corrugation Plant is a proud for DAYA.

DAYA had installed a turn-key project for Flexible Packaging and Corrugated Packaging Plant in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. With this project DAYA has earned name in executing turnkey project right from designing layout plans, supplying machineries, Sourcing raw material, installations and imparting training to the operators. This project was installed at M/s. Classic Plastic Packaging and Carton Box Factory, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Various machines installed were Flexo Printing Machine 6 Color, Lamination & Coating Machine, Slitter Rewinder, Corrugation Box Making Machines, Die Punching Machines. Similar project has been already successfully executed at Egypt and yet another in Ethiopia is already under process.

NEW INSTALLATION OF SHEET TO SHEET LAMINATING MACHINE IN KENYA
The participation at IPEX 2002, Birmingham resulted in installation of Sheet to Sheet Laminating Machine at M/s ASL Packaging, Nairobi, Kenya. It is the first machine to be installed in this part of world. The machine is used for mounting paper, board, cardboard to board, cardboard, corrugated board with perfect and accurate registration levels. All controls are pneumatically controlled with nine feet long compression pressing section for immediate used of laminated board for next process.
